Texas High School Basketball - Sundown victorious over Smyer

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored a good 66-49 triumph over the Smyer Bobcats.

The Roughnecks (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Plains (Plains, TX). The Cowboys go into the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Plains topped Smyer (Smyer, TX), 48-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats confront the Morton Indians (Morton, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 contest, on Friday, December 20. Smyer will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 2-13 record after their 64-16 league loss to Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
