The Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES basketball team scored 29 points and limited the visiting Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys to 27 in the EAGLES non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The EAGLES now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Heritage Academy for a game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Ospreys travel to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Thursday, December 19. The Crusaders go into the contest with a record of 7-0. Temple Christian won 42-14 in their recent non-league contest against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA)
