In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Carlson Marauders ice hockey team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets.

The Marauders (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI). The Jaguars go into the Michigan Metro contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Allen Park was nipped by Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI), 7-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets play the Lumen Christi Catholic Titans (Jackson, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Detroit Country Day will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
