In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Rosemount Irish ice hockey team scored a close 5-2 victory over the Eastview Lightning.

The Irish (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hermantown edged Denfeld (Duluth, MN), 5-3, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lightning play the Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) in a South Suburban contest, on Thursday, December 19. Eastview will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 9-0 league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN).
