The Orcas Island Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host La Conner Braves to 48 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sound Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11.

With the loss, La Conner falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Braves host Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-2. Lakewood lost 65-56 in their recent non-league game against Lynden (Lynden, WA)
