The Winthrop Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Swampscott Big Blue to 61 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Danvers for a non-league game on Friday, December 20.
With the loss, Swampscott falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Big blue host Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-1.
