Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS) and the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), saw Grenada's soccer squad knock off South Panola by a count of 2-0.

The Chargers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Conquistadors enter the 6A Region 1 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Olive Branch by Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) in a 6A Region 1 battle, on Thursday, December 19. South Panola will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
