The Oxford Prep Griffins basketball squad (Oxford, NC), was crushed 53-25 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC)
With the victory, Durham School of the Arts advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to meet the Warriors in a Big Seven 4A/5A battle on Thursday, December 18. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 2-6. J.F. Webb won 75-37 in their recent non-league battle against Northampton County (Gaston, NC)
The Griffins now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunn for a non-league battle on Friday, December 19. Oxford Prep will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 62-34 non-league win over Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
