Liberty Bell Mountain Lions (Winthrop, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Manson Trojans (Manson, WA), 76-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Liberty Bell advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mountain Lions travel to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, December 20. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-2. Chewelah lost 70-45 in their recent league match against Reardan (Reardan, WA)
The Trojans now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Coupeville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 19. Manson will battle a Wolves team coming off a 51-32 league loss to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-5.
