In Saturday's non-league match, the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 69-45 triumph over the Josey Eagles.
In their next game, the Fighting Green Hornets meet the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 20. Aiken will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Demons enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 55-49 non-league loss to Camden (Camden, SC).
With the defeat, Josey moves to 1-8 on the year. The Eagles host Butler (Augusta, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-3. Butler won 61-59 in their recent non-league match against Eastside (Covington, GA)
