The Putnam County Panthers basketball team (Granville, IL), was overwhelmed 45-10 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL)

The Knights now possess a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league battle on Monday, December 20. Fieldcrest will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 31-29 non-league loss to Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 7-5.

The Panthers (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, St. Bede was overwhelmed by Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 54-41, in a non-league battle.
