Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), 61-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oakdale upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Turlock (Turlock, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Turlock won 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 7. Golden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
