Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - Portsmouth knocks off South Kingstown

The Portsmouth Patriots trounced the visiting South Kingstown Rebels ice hockey squad by a tally of 8-3 in Sunday's league bout.

With the victory, Portsmouth betters its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Rebels now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ponaganset for a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, December 21. South Kingstown will confront a Chieftains squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Rogers (Newport, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-1.
