Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA), 58-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Atkinson County upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Rebels travel to Coffee (Douglas, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Coffee won 58-45 in their recent non-league bout against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Jeff Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
