With the victory, Letcher County Central improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cougars / Lady Cougars travel to Knott County Central (Hindman, KY) to play the Patriots in a District 53 challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Lions play the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Cordia will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
