Georgia High School Basketball - Marion County ripped by Taylor County

The Taylor County Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Marion County Eagles to 37 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Taylor County will meet a War Eagles team coming off a 66-64 non-league loss to Hancock Central (Sparta, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Blue Devils enter the A D2 Region 6 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Manchester triumphed over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA), 47-36, in a league contest.
