Alabama High School Basketball - St. John Paul II knocked off by New Hope

The New Hope Indians basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. New Hope will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.
The Falcons (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Athens (Athens, AL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Athens ran past Decatur (Decatur, AL), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
