New Hampshire High School Basketball - Stevens tops Newport

Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), 47-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Stevens upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host White Mountains (Whitefield, NH) to play the Spartans in a Division III bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Tigers play the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a Division III bout, on Thursday, December 21. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
