The Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Northern Lehigh Bulldogs to 34 in the Blue Bombers league victory on Monday.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catasauqua for a Colonial - West contest on Wednesday, December 20. Palmerton will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 71-32 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 1-5.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans come into the Colonial - West contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Southern Lehigh triumphed over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA), 53-48, in a league contest.
