Riley County Falcons (Riley, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS), 52-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riley County upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Beloit (Beloit, KS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Beloit won 58-29 in their recent non-league bout against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Rock Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 62-54 non-league win over Rossville (Rossville, KS).
