The Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Villa Walsh Academy Vikings (Morristown, NJ), 35-31 in Monday's non-league test.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Mountain Lakes was tipped by Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ), 31-24, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Whippany Park for a Freelance test on Wednesday, December 20. Villa Walsh Academy will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-36 league loss to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
