The Excel Panthers basketball team (Excel, AL), was overwhelmed 38-16 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL)

The Bears now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Leroy will confront a Aggies team coming off a 65-19 non-league win over Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 10-1.
