Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL), 65-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sulligent upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Marion County (Guin, AL) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Marion County won 69-43 in their recent non-league bout against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) in a 3A Area 10 bout, on Thursday, December 21. Fayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 37-32 non-league win over University Charter (Livingston, AL).
