Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), 42-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Glen Rose upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Beavers travel to Malvern (Malvern, AR) to play the Leopards in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Curley Wolves play the Jessieville Lions (Jessieville, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Prescott will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 13-0 record after their 67-43 league win over Bismarck (Bismarck, AR).
