The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball knocked off the host Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars (Cooperstown, ND), 49-33 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bulldogs go into the AA Section 2 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton went down by Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN), 49-34, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Midway/Minto for a non-league test on Friday, December 22.
