The Union Knights basketball team (La Porte City, IA), was routed 57-20 in Monday's league battle with the host Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA)
The J-Hawks now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Hardin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Jesup will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-29 league loss to AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
The Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, East Marshall trounced South Tama County (Tama, IA), 49-45, in a non-league battle.
