Missouri High School Basketball - Marion County knocked off by La Plata

The La Plata Bulldogs basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Marion County Mustangs to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gallatin for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. La Plata will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-19 non-league loss to East Buchanan (Gower, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brashear (Brashear, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Brashear was defeated by North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO), 34-24, in a non-league contest.
