Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield crushes McKinley

Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 57-9 in a league bout.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to play the Rams in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Thursday, December 21. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Mineral Ridge won 63-44 in their recent league bout against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)

Next up, the Trojans play the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Thursday, December 21. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 63-24 league win over McDonald (McDonald, OH).
