With the win, Mott Haven upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Morrisania (Bronx, NY) to play the Lions in a PSAL AA Bronx bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Morrisania won 39-30 in their recent league bout against Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy (Bronx, NY)

Next up, the Phoenix play the Mott Haven Mavericks (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL AA Bronx bout, on Friday, December 22. South Bronx will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
