Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (Palmyra, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Parkview Vikings (Orfordville, WI), 44-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Palmyra-Eagle upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Rio (Rio, WI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 31. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Rio lost 56-41 in their recent league bout against Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Parkview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 35-20 non-league win over Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL).
