Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Riverdale Mavericks (Portland, OR) and the host Portland Adventist Academy Cougars (Portland, OR), saw Riverdale's basketball squad knock off Portland Adventist Academy by a count of 41-22.

With the victory, Riverdale upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Sutherlin won 52-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Portland Adventist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Loggers come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 45-33 non-league loss to Warrenton (Warrenton, OR).
