The Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL), 53-50 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson County (Monticello, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Jefferson County was tipped by Munroe (Quincy, FL), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1.
