Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sharon Springs Central Spartans (Sharon Springs, NY), 72-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middleburgh upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Galway (Galway, NY) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Galway lost 52-26 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville (Greenville, NY)
