Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Braves confront the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) in a 4A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Tishomingo County will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record.

The Red Raiders now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mooreville for a 4A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. Shannon will confront a Troopers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 5-8.
