The Griffins (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Brusly edged Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 73-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Assumption will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA).
