The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA) and the host Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA), observed Cochranton's basketball team overcome Maplewood by a margin of 67-49.

The Cardinals (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jamestown (Jamestown, PA). The Muskies come into the District 10 Region 2 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Jamestown dropped by Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA), 48-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Maplewood will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Devils come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 57-39 league loss to Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA).
