In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Shakopee Sabers basketball team scored a big 69-40 triumph over the Eastview Lightning.

The Sabers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers go into the AAAA Section 2 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Prior Lake smashed Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 77-58, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Lightning battle the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a AAAA Section 3 contest, on Friday, December 20. Eastview will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Irish go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 69-64 non-league loss to John Marshall (Rochester, MN).
