Florida High School Basketball - Lake Gibson succumbs to Vanguard

The Vanguard Panthers defeated the host Lake Gibson Braves basketball squad by a final score of 69-57 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 20. Vanguard will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Vikings come into the outing with a 1-10 record after their 69-65 league loss to New Dimensions (Kissimmee, FL).

The Braves (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Grandview Prep (Boca Raton, FL). The Pride come into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Grandview Prep overcame Somerset Academy Key (Deerfield Beach, FL), 77-69, in a non-league outing.
