The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) and the visiting Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), observed Schenck's basketball team knock off Lee Academy by a score of 71-55.

The Wolverines (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen come into the D North challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Stearns was knocked off by Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 57-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pandas encounter the Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME) in a D North challenge, on Friday, December 20. Lee Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Narraguagus (Harrington, ME).
