The Sho-Ban Chiefs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting North Gem Cowboys to 29 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Chiefs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Alturas Prep for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Sho-Ban will play a Pumas team coming off a 47-13 non-league loss to North Gem (Bancroft, ID). The Pumas record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, North Gem falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Grace Lutheran (Pocatello, ID) to play the Royals in a 1A Rocky Mountain game on Friday, January 3. The Royals go into the game with a record of 5-0. Grace Lutheran won 65-43 in their recent non-league game against American Heritage (Idaho Falls, ID)
