In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting James F. Byrnes Rebels basketball team scored a big 62-34 triumph over the J.L. Mann Patriots.
The Rebels (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Wren smashed Easley (Easley, SC), 45-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. J.L. Mann will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 32-28 non-league win over Eastside (Taylors, SC).
