In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lowellville Rockets basketball team scored a good 42-29 triumph over the Memorial Red Devils.
The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Memorial will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
