The Gators (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Basile (Basile, LA). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Basile trounced Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 56-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. DeRidder will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 45-32 non-league win over South Beauregard (Longville, LA).
