The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) and the host Ridgeview Global Studies Academy Explorers (Davenport, FL), observed Fort Meade's basketball team knock off Ridgeview Global Studies Academy by a score of 38-26.

The Miners (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Frostproof (Frostproof, FL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Frostproof was knocked off by Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL), 39-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Explorers encounter the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Ridgeview Global Studies Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 44-5 non-league win over Lakeland (Lakeland, FL).
