Franklin Central Purple Devils (Franklin, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders (Gilbertsville, NY), 39-32 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Franklin Central advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Purple Devils travel to Stamford Central (Stamford, NY) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-0.

The Raiders now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schenevus Central for a Section 4 Tri-Valley match on Friday, December 20.
