The William Byrd Terriers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Glenvar Highlanders to 22 in the Terriers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Terriers now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Salem for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. William Byrd will confront a Spartans team coming off a 58-21 league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Glenvar falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to confront the Cougars in a Three Rivers game on Monday, January 6. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-3.
