In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties basketball team scored a big 57-19 triumph over the River View Black Bears.

The Scotties (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Raiders go into the Muskingum Valley contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Morgan was trounced by Sheridan (Thornville, OH), 59-25, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Black Bears confront the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints (New Philadelphia, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. River View will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 35-34 league win over East Canton (East Canton, OH).
