The Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) basketball edged the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 50-43 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Staunton for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Rockbridge County will play a Storm team coming off a 41-26 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Storm record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Little giants travel to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to play the Cougars in a Shenandoah bout on Friday, January 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-1.
