The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams (Edison, NJ) and the visiting South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ), observed Wardlaw Hartridge's basketball team knock off South Amboy by a score of 28-18.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mother Seton (Clark, NJ). The Setters come into the Greater Middlesex - Blue challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Mother Seton prevailed over Wardlaw Hartridge (Edison, NJ), 21-17, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Governors encounter the Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. South Amboy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Admirals come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 44-30 non-league loss to Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ).
