In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Brattleboro Bears ice hockey team scored a close 4-1 victory over the Rutland Raiders.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Hurricanes go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Raiders play the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Rutland will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT).
